* Please check your patron record to renew online, see what you have checked out and what you have on hold.
* You can place requests when online through the Minerva catalog or through the Mainecat catalog. We are part of the van delivery service, which facilitates getting items from library to library. If you need assistance with a book’s title or author or any part of the online process please feel free to stop by or call the library. (364-3661)
* All RPL items are loaned for two weeks. Please honor our due dates.
* You can renew items online, by calling in or in person.
* Please have your card with you when you visit the library or call.
Services
* Online requests can be picked up at the front desk up once they arrive. You will be called when it comes in.
* The signup sheet for computer use is at the front desk. There is also a waiting list, if the machines are full. Please be sure to sign up before going to a computer.
* Please bring you card with you and periodically update the information in the system.
* There is a book case of Maine related books in the circulation area.
* The Library maintains a collection of nearly 600 fiction and nonfiction titles in large type. We also have over 300 audio books on tape, CD and DVD for patron use.
* Fax and Copy are available. Copy costs are $0.10 per side for black and white and $0.25 per side for color. Fax sending costs are $2.00 for the first page and $1.00 for any others. If your fax number is toll-free, the cost is half of that. Faxes received are $1.00 for the first page and $0.50 for any that follow. Our fax number is 207-364-7296.
* The Rumford Falls Times is on microfilm. It is available on a first come - first serve basis. Check with staff for access.
